By accessing or using secondshiftmethod.com ("the Site") or any The Second Shift Method™ products, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

What The Second Shift Method™ Provides

The Second Shift Method™ provides educational content, AI workflow guidance, and a workflow library designed to help working mothers use AI tools for household management. This includes written workflows, prompts, setup instructions, a one-page Family Profile you build and install in your own AI tool, and connection guides and Runs that help your own AI tool work across the accounts you already use. All content is for informational and educational purposes only.

The Second Shift Method™ is a guidance and content product. It does not act on your behalf, hold your accounts, or run anything for you. The workflows and Runs are instructions and prompts you give to your own AI tool, using your own connected accounts, on your own terms.

The Second Shift Method™ does not provide professional, legal, medical, financial, or therapeutic advice. Content on this site should not be construed as a substitute for professional guidance in any field. Always consult qualified professionals for decisions with significant consequences.

AI Tools Disclaimer

This site references and recommends third-party AI tools including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and Microsoft Copilot. The Second Shift Method™ is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these companies. We do not control the outputs, availability, pricing, or policies of third-party AI tools. These references are examples, not requirements. The Second Shift Method™ is designed to be tool-agnostic except where a workflow requires a specific account connection or platform feature.

AI tools can produce inaccurate, outdated, or misleading outputs. You are responsible for verifying any information produced by AI tools before acting on it, particularly information involving dates, times, medical topics, financial matters, legal questions, or the safety and wellbeing of children.

Integrations, Connected Accounts, and Runs

Some workflows go further by connecting your own AI tool to accounts you already use, such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Outlook, Instacart, Target, DocuSign, and school apps like ParentSquare, Canvas, and Google Classroom. A Run is a sequence of workflows your AI tool carries out across those accounts on a schedule you set.

The Second Shift Method™ provides only the instructions and prompts for setting these up. You connect your own accounts to your own AI tool, through that tool's own settings, and you can disconnect any of them at any time from the same place. The connections and the paid plan that powers them are between you and the third-party tools you choose.

Every Run is built to keep you in control. Nothing is purchased, sent, signed, or canceled without your explicit approval. Your AI tool prepares the work and waits for your yes before it takes a final action. You are responsible for reviewing each draft, cart, message, and document before you approve it, and for any action you authorize.

The Second Shift Method™ does not store, access, or process the contents of your email, calendar, or connected accounts. Those connections live inside your own AI tool, not on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for what we do and do not store.

No Guarantees of Results

Time savings estimates, productivity claims, and user testimonials on this site reflect individual experiences. Results are not typical and will vary based on household complexity, AI tools used, time invested in setup, and other factors. The Second Shift Method™ makes no guarantee of specific outcomes.

Intellectual Property

All content on this site, including workflow descriptions, workflow guides, prompts, and copy, is the property of The Second Shift Method™ and protected by applicable copyright laws. You may use prompts and workflows for personal household use. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercialize any content without written permission.

Plans and Pricing

The Second Shift Method™ offers:

• Monthly Membership, $19/month, billed monthly until canceled.
• Annual Membership, $189/year, billed annually until canceled.
• Lifetime Founder Membership, $397 one-time, with no recurring charge.
• Three workflow starter packs at $19 one-time each, a one-time purchase of a focused set of workflows.

If you buy a $19 starter pack and later upgrade to an Annual Membership, the $19 you paid for the pack is automatically credited toward that upgrade. The credit is applied to your next invoice through Stripe. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card number.

Refunds and Cancellation

Every plan comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. You can get a full refund within 30 days of purchase, no questions asked. To request one, email hello@secondshiftmethod.com or use the refund option in your member portal. After 30 days, payments are non-refundable.

You can cancel a Monthly or Annual Membership at any time from your member portal. Billing stops at the end of the current period and you keep access through the date you have already paid for. The full Refund Policy is on the Refund Policy page.

Founder Bonuses

The Lifetime Founder Membership includes two bonuses for founding members: a library of Apple Shortcuts with step-by-step build tutorials, and one free 30-minute session with Ryan King, the founder. The session does not expire. These bonuses are offered with the Lifetime plan and may change for future purchasers.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Second Shift Method™ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site or any third-party AI tools referenced here. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or small claims court, as applicable.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Significant changes will be communicated via email to subscribers.
