Is this safe?

Your family stays
yours.

Maybe this is the first time you are putting anything about your kids into an AI. Good instinct to ask. Here is exactly what we hold (almost nothing), what to keep to yourself, and the one setting to change in each tool. No jargon.

What we hold on you

We never see your chats

The conversation happens between you and the tool you already use. It does not pass through us. We do not log what you paste or what comes back.

We don't store your family

No prompts, no outputs, no household details sitting on our servers. The workflows are written once and handed to you. What you do with them stays with you.

You approve everything

Nothing sends, saves, or runs on its own. Every workflow ends with you reading it over and deciding. You are always the last step.

The one rule

Some things never go in a chat box

Social Security numbers. Full bank or card numbers. Passwords and logins. Medical record or insurance ID numbers. Driver's license or passport numbers. Redact those before you paste a statement or a form. Use a first name or an initial instead of a full legal name when it does not change the answer.

Every workflow that touches anything sensitive says so, right in the steps, and tells you what to leave out first.

The three tools, and the setting to change

The library runs on whichever of these you already have. We are not the AI company. Your chats go to OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google under their rules, so here is the plain version of those rules and the one switch worth flipping on a personal account.

ChatGPT

by OpenAI

On a free or Plus account, your chats can be used to improve OpenAI's models unless you turn that off.

Do this

Settings, then Data Controls, then turn off “Improve the model for everyone.” For anything sensitive, start a Temporary Chat so it is not saved to your history at all.

Claude

by Anthropic

Anthropic does not train its models on your conversations unless you choose to share them. Chats can be reviewed when something is flagged for safety.

Do this

Settings, then Privacy. Leave data sharing off if you want your conversations kept out of model training.

Gemini

by Google

On a personal Google account, your Gemini activity can be read by reviewers and used to improve Google's services.

Do this

Open your Google Account, then Gemini Apps Activity, and turn it off. While review is on, do not paste anything you would not want a person to read.

These companies change their policies often. Treat this as where to look, not gospel. Open each tool's privacy settings and read the current version before you share anything that matters.

You stay in control

Start with the two free workflows. Nothing to install, no card, nothing leaves your screen that you did not put there.

Offload the bullshit.
Not the parenting.

The AI takes the forms, the cart, the calendar, the chasing. You keep the bedtime stories.
